Macarne Abuse Policy

At Macarne, we take abuse of our services seriously. This policy outlines the proper procedure for submitting abuse complaints, including valid DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) notices.
1. Reporting Abuse
If you believe any Macarne-hosted content or service is being used in violation of copyright or other policies, please submit a formal abuse complaint.
We review all valid reports and take appropriate action. Incomplete or improperly formatted reports may be disregarded.
For copyright claims, a properly structured DMCA notice is required.
2. What to Include in a Valid DMCA Notice
To ensure we can act efficiently, your DMCA notice must include:
a. Your Identity
You must be: - The copyright holder, or - An authorized agent acting on behalf of the copyright holder
b. Your Contact Information
Please include: - Full legal name - Physical mailing address - Telephone number - Valid email address
c. Description of the Copyrighted Work(s)
- Clearly describe the work(s) you believe are being infringed
- if you’re reporting many works on one site, a representative list is acceptable.
d. Identification of the Infringing Material
- Provide full URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material
- Identify the exact content to be removed or disabled.
e. Good Faith Statement
Include a clear statement that: > “I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
f. Accuracy & Perjury Statement
You must confirm: > “The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.”
3. Repeat Infringers
In compliance with Section 512(i)(1)(A) of the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512), Macarne may suspend or terminate users who are repeat copyright infringers.
4. How to Submit a DMCA Notice
